Decided to venture out into the party to brush my teeth and was immediately attacked by our Argentinian roommate who was confused why I was brushing my teeth since I never came out to drink with them. As I was walking back to my room, he and one of his friends asked me if I was going out with them. When I responded that I couldn’t tonight, they were perplexed because in Spain, it’s normal to leave your apartment to go out at 230am. I told them that I had class early, at 9am (but come to think of it, my class is at 10am) and they said that’s no big deal, stay out until 8am then come back. Oh Europeans. What a different life they lead.
