Decided to venture out into the party to brush my teeth and was immediately attacked by our Argentinian roommate who was confused why I was brushing my teeth since I never came out to drink with them. As I was walking back to my room, he and one of his friends asked me if I was going out with them. When I responded that I couldn’t tonight, they were perplexed because in Spain, it’s...

Always something to adapt to.
Since living here, it has become apparent just how different Madrid is from the United States, specifically from things that I am used to. It is causing me to truly appreciate the efficiency and technology that we utilize in America. Just a few examples to provide some food for thought: In the States, we are accustomed to having everything automated, everything run by a machine, so that we can...

One thought that never crossed my mind: the commentators would be speaking Spanish. Now I really have no hope of understanding.
